ha ha,

you are a funny guy!

Actually, I may be able to swing this. I'd like to go. I really like Stephenson's books. I may have to go get a copy of Necronomicon so he can sign it. Of course, I have Snowcrash and Diamond Age, but I still think Necronimocon is his best book to date. Or has his new one come out?

Posted by JP on Thursday September 11, 2003 at 8:54 AM

It comes out on September 23! Woo hoo!

I think the bookstore would prefer you bought it there. Necronomicon?

"Klatu Veratas Nic "

Ooops, I tried to put Nic ...cough... ...cough... but it doesn't like the angle brackets.

Oh, and I was thinking it might be nice to go to a game store while we're there, if anyone else would want to.

Buy it there? Bah!

But it here so I know I'll have a copy. I know there is a game store on Lamar north of 183. Kingsland Games I think? Don't know where any others are. Dinner at? Chuy's? Matt's El Ranchero? El Arroyo? Somewhere else? Scott?

Count me in.

I'm about a third of the way through Snow Crash.

BTW, as I was rummaging through "the stacks" (a.k.a. "the boxes"), I pulled out Diamond Age, Zodiac and Interface(this last one is N. Stephenson writing fiction as Stephen Brury). If you'd like to borrow said tomes, let me know.
