Someone has a lot of time on their hands. Check out this map of Springfield. There's a Big Map version so you can see all the hot spots like the the Try n' Save, A Bug's Death Exterminators, Just Chloroform and the Pay and Park and Pay. The stores in the Springfield Mall are also listed. This massive effort, which naturally required multiple viewing of every Simpsons episode, has not gone unrewarded, though. The map has been added to The Harvard Map Collection. Aye Carumba!
