Here's a Google Blog Post from Dennis Hwang, the Google Doodler talking a bit about the oodles of google doodles that he doodles. Maybe Pete can send in his doodle.

Hello Dennis,
Not too long ago, after seeing all of your designs, I, too, was inspired to try one of my own. So I created a Google doodle here at: http://home.houston.rr.com/peteryee/Google0.gif. It is in the style of an "ambigram." Ambigrams are picture/words that can be made to be seen/read in all sort of interesting ways such as mirrored, rotated, etc. Creating ambigrams has been a hobby of mine for years now since I first found out about them in an issue of Omni. In fact, here's a link to one of the great ambigram masters, Scott Kim, http://www.scottkim.com, I think he calls them "inversions."
