| Review: Really good story and a quick read. The condition of synesthesia is interesting in that there are lots of twisted sensory descriptions like "the horrible smell of purple" and "the ring of the telephone feeling like burlap." An excellent description of William's boyhood initiates the lifelong loneliness that prompts what he believes is a hallucination of the girl Anna. Or, is she real? | |

In a "straight forward" count, I'm around 200 or so. I'm in the middle of a couple of collections, so when they are done, I'll give an update.

226 when I finish Asimov's "The Complete Robot"...straightforward count, not counting novellas as doubles, etc.

At about story #261, which puts me 20+ ahead by the end of August YTD. Again, straight-line method, one thing read = one story.

Way to go, Fred. I'm about the same, but I'm using the weighted points system so my story count is a bit less. Are you documenting at all? I'd love to see the list. Maybe you could post it at The Eternal Golden Braid?

Yep, gotta write up the list at some point. However, I'm still getting used to my work schedule, my daughter's school schedule and how it is impacting computer time. Soon, soon!

Part-time, barely above minimum. But it's second-shift, so we don't need daycare. And, it's security, which means I can read a lot of short stories.
