Astrobiology Magazine discusses the upcoming War of the Worlds remake and the history of this classic story. The upcoming movie, directed by Stephen Spielberg, will star Tom Cruise, who also teamed up in 2002's Minority Report, based on Philip K. Dick's excellent short story.
