Look, up on the web. It's a bird. It's a plane. It's yet another search engine!

Vivisimo has launched Clusty, a search site powered by clustering technology. Search results can be grouped by topic, domain and source. Here are some sf searches: "science fiction"; scifi; (and for Pete) scifi babes.

You notice how all the search engines look pretty much the same...advertising/sponsors on top, blah, blah, blah.

How about a fresh approach there as well?

In fact, I saw this a couple of days ago and thought about posting it here but decided against it because it didn't seem to add much. The search results don't look any better, the ads are the same - pretty much nothing to see here, move along.

Oh, and the cluster in the description means it returns results clustered togther, not that it uses compute clusters (although it might.)
