Spamopoly: Go Directly to Jail

Jurors recommended 9 years of jail time for the male half of the brother/sister spam team who were convicted of spamming millions of AOL users (sentencing to be completed in February). The woman was slapped with a $7,500 fine. A third defendant was acquitted. This was the first-ever prosecution of spammers.

What surprises me about this one is that 10,000 people actually forked over $40 each to these ass-clowns.

You know, this just couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch of people... for the 10K idiots, i bet they are all michael moore followers because that fits the pattern...

The judge sets the spammer's bail at $1 million. Not that that puts a huge dent in the $24 million he made from ass-clowning. However, if he does need quick cash, I can forward him email citing several really easy ways to make fast money...
