We all know that those lucky Brits already have the opportunity to watch BG right now (in fact, they are up to Episode 11)? Well, Foldedspace.org has written up a nice little testimonial as to why you should watch it (starts this Friday on SciFi BTW). I also find it amusing that the review was using Bittorrent to download the episodes. WTH was SciFi thinking making the US wait? I have downloaded 3, but haven't really watched them, preferring to see them on a real TV screen instead of a monitor. If only SciFi was in HD. Yet another reason to hate the SciFi Channel, that and a general lack SF...

It's something we're used to over here, waiting for tv series to get shown. I think the delay is getting shorter but it's still annoying. However as you can alledgedly get some very good copies of shows on bittorrent then perhaps the delay is something that will have to be addressed?
After all big films tend to have global relases nowadays to try and prevent piracy. But perhaps the bittorrent downloads are below the threshhold of caring at the moment?
And if you hadn't already gathered, I really like the new Battlestar Galactica.

I will be watching intently this Friday. I'm even toying with the idea of live blogging the show. Well, not the first time its shown, but the second. Once the kids are in bed.
But that may be too geeky even for John.
