A very hot place is now very cold

According to this article, the XBox-360 will be gaining some backward compatibility. My skeptical nature kicked in on this quote: "Although the Xbox 360 will be backward-compatible, Bach said that it won't necessarily run all of the older Xbox titles but instead, run the "top-selling" games. "

Me thinks they will add support to handle specific games and I wonder how well these games will actually work.

I wonder if it won't be that games that support the latest version of the XBox SDK work, while those based on maybe the initial version don't.
