New Highlander Movie

A new Highlander movie called Highlander: The Source is in the works. It's meant to be the first of a trilogy that chronicles the origins of the Immortals. The movie will star Adrian Paul who also starred in the Highlander TV series. (Now I may have to actually watch the dvds.)

would this be the original origin, or the screwed up version in the later movies?

Mmmmh... the original origin??? I wish they would settle who's the last one remaining, I saw the first, and it fore tells that Connor is the last one, the second one brings Ramirez back and ends everything, then the Third is between the first and the second one, but endgame kills Connor!!! soo! what happended to the other tree movies where he is the last one!!!! now on End Game there's a bunch! and who takes Methoz down!!?? I only hope they don't screw things worse than they already are!

People they are just movies,and meant to entertain.
I personally like Adrian Paul's (Duncan)and appreciate
his continued study which has greatly improved the sword
work and martial arts. And I hope to see more.

I have been wondering where the imortals came from. I hope it's a better story than movie number two.I thought the series was a really great study between good & evil. Duncan seems to be a more realisticly written person than Conner was.Adrian Paul is fantastic at sword work and martial arts.

I don't get it: Adrian Paul with his mad ninja skillz and lady-appeal can't get a regular acting job? Why create more along the lines of his old series?

Well, if he's to continue along that saga he should do it right - make ONE movie called "The Highlander". A reinterpretation of the story but updated for the 21st century. Throw in some well-researched historical flashbacks. And add a cast of real actors (not these Euro-stuntmen from the movies) and shop around for a good screenwriter. Make it legendary not faux-legendary (like Riddick or Narnia).

I'm thinking Antonio Banderas as Ramirez, Clive Owen as Kurgan, and Thandie Newton as Duncan's mortal love interest. The plot should hint at their (non-extraterrestial) origins, and be left open-ended so that the mythos of The Immortals is kept alive.

DID NO ONE WATCH THE SECOND MOVIE??? WE ALREADY KNOW WHERE THE IMMORTALS COME FROM. AND AS FOR CONNOR WINNING THEN DIEING IN END GAME IF YOU WATCHED THE MOVIE IT EXPLAINS THAT CONNER HAD DREAMPT WINNING THE PRIZE WHILE HE WAS IN "HIBERNATION".

i know its a little late but just incase u havent seen highlander the source then you can go to utorrent.com download the utorrent software then go to fulldls.com type in what your looking for then copy and save your link to a folder then open up utorrent drag your link to utorrent wait for it to download then enjoy

They should make a Highlander movie that doesn't suck. They should actually save some money, and put some extra thought into their scripts before they turn on the damn camera's and yell ACTION!. They should cast Orlando Bloom untill they can make a perfect Chris Lambert computer generation, and the wrestler Kane as the new Kurgan. Annnnnnnd.... lets see... Pactrick Stuwart as Remirez!

They should save money by not making it at all... or invest the money they would spend on making this tripe and eliminate every copy of the sequels and their spin-offs, perhaps even inventing some kind of mind-wipe device that would delete all knowledge of the sequels from everybody's minds and thus leave everyone with the brilliance that is the first movie and leave it the **** alone!

I would like to see the people bitching about the series, write anything better. It's easy to criticize everything you see and hear. I'll bet you complain about every thing else in your life as well. I thoroughly enjoy all of the "Highlander" productions and realize that immortals are fictitious and writers are only human not perfect. I'll bet when the series first started ......they didn't have any idea that it would run for six seasons so they have had to play it by ear. They are doing the best that they can to entertain us and I appreciate the good job they have done!!!!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone involved with the production of "Highlander". I have spent many enjoyable hours in front of the television set!

I think the first movie of highlander was good the second terable, the third was okay and the four movie highlander the endgame left alot of questions. highlander the source was realy bad and I think another movie would be great if the movie pick up from hignalder the endgame and answers all the question left from the movies and the series play by Adrian Paul

I myself am a little confused as to why they would make a movie on the origins. Because those of us who have the directors cut of Highlander 2 it clearly explains that they came from the planet Ziest, and was sent to earth as part of a punishment. So unless they are going to make the movie around the planet Ziest, it's going to change the whole Highlander story anyway.

Then first Highlander movie was good. Highlander 2 sucked and is ignored by most Highlander fans. However when the series came out I refused to watch it at first because I liked Connor so much, however I did catch a couple of episodes and they were good. Eventually I was captivated by the Series and liked Duncan better than Connor, although they are essentially the same character. The Series added the Watchers, better swordplay, and new and interesting characters like Fitzcarin and Methos. Endgame was good because it merged the characters of Duncan and Connor, and had all of the elements that made the series popular. The Source sucked @ss and I have no idea what it means. It's right up there with Highlander 2 and is best ignored. What the producers should have done is given the fans of the series the ending we deserved which was Duncan winning the Prize. It's almost as if they said "hey lets milk the Highlander franchise even though we have no clue where to go with it." Better to give it a good ending and move on.
