Quick Comment on BG Season 2

Since nobody's posted about the new season of Battlestar Galactica that started up a couple of weeks ago, I'd thought I'd mention that, so far, I'm still lovin' it.

Four episodes have aired (episode 5 airs tonight) but I've only seen three of them because someone who shall remain nameless (let's refer to him as son-who-should-never-again-be-allowed-access-to-the-Tivo-remote) saw fit to change the channel at a most inopportune time. The boy has been chastised and fitted with an electronic device that, when he nears the remote, plays a horribly off-tune MIDI version of The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.

Thats harsh man - I am telling you harsh. And if you are liking BG, I suggest you check out the podcast from Ron Moore. It gives some great insight on the scenes from the current episode were built up...

They show BSG multiple times over the weekend on Sci-Fi.. at least two repeats.

Yeah, I know. I was on vacation when it happened. I didn't know it happened until I came back and it was way too late. Grumble...

BTW the podcast indicated that the number of survivors changes each week and while I thought that would be a great touch did not believe they would modify the starting credits. But I was wrong and thanks to my little Windows Media Center recordings I have found that the numbers have changed since last week for sure, and I would not be surprised if there is a spot on the web where this data is collected by fanboys. Or we could do it :)

I have yet to watch Season 2. The reason? Power outages on nights one and two, not discovered until after night 3 was recorded, so too late to go back and catch the repeats!

However, they (SkiiiFiii) are showing the first five episodes this next week, on Tuesday night, so I'll record them again (assuming no more power losses!) and watch them in one go.

I'm just hoping that they have repeats the first week of September, as I'll be camping without access to TV (broadcast, cable or satellite!).
