Wow! The Tiny Carbon-based Computers?

This is pretty cool, they've created "transistors" using tiny bits of carbon -- I don't understand all of it but it's still pretty cool!

I wonder if they can use this to augment people... but it will probably not be in my lifetime...

I think this awesome - although time will tell if it ever pans out. Every time somebody thinks we can't get any smaller or faster with computing something like this happens and we have to rethink what we're doing.

This would result in transistors 2 orders of magnitude smaller than today - just imagine that! An entire x86-based PC today could now be placed on a single chip - including the brides, graphics GPU, sound, main multi-core processor, etc. Can you see 4- or 8-core CPUs becoming mainstream?
