What Were the First Books You Read by These Authors?

Prompted by a Google Groups posting, I thought I'd do a quick survey.

What was the first (not last, not best) book that you read by the following authors?

I tried to pick a mix of authors based on popularity and canon size. I also tried to keep the list relatively short. If this list is too short, we could do another post with a new set of authors.

Here is the author list with my answers.

Brian Aldiss: Non Stop
Isaac Asimov: The Caves of Steel
Greg Bear: The Forge of God
Gregory Benford: Timescape
Alfred Bester: None
James Blish: A Case of Conscience
Ray Bradbury: Something Wicked This Way Comes
David Brin: Earth
Arthur C. Clarke: Rendezvous with Rama
Philip K. Dick: Solar Lottery
Robert A. Heinlein: Stranger in a Strange Land
Ursula K. LeGuin: The Left Hand of Darkness
Michael Moorcock: Behold the Man
Larry Niven: Ringworld
Andre Norton: None.
Frederik Pohl: Gateway
Terry Pratchett: The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents
Robert Silverberg: Project Pendulum
