I personally would like to see Legacy of Heorot made into a movie. Ringworld is obvious, but I'm not sure how well it would translate to the big screen.

Yep, there's always that. I hope people considerd those types of things instead of seeing the question as a "What's your favorite book?" question.

And, d'oh! About mid-week I realized I neglected to put in an "other" choice. Legacy of Heorot would have fit there nicely. :-S

"Legacy" would be nice, but I voted for "Mote", given the advances in CGI, etc. We finally could do decent space battles and the Moties!

Dream Park would make a great film - the subject is workable (an extension of today's MMORPGs even), the special effects wouldn't be any trouble, and the story is great.
