More Futurama On The Way?

According to the voice of Fry, Billy West, the answer is yes. The big difference this time is that they are supposedly working on 26 new episodes to be aired on TV, not DVD! This is good news for everyone and now I must go acquire the last volume in the DVD series....

Update: Or not. :(

wow that was completely out of left field....I really think we should all thank the boys and girls in Atlanta at Cartoon network's "Adult Swim" for this.

Thier constant replaying of the show to the point of anoyance has help the audiance grow more then anything...yeah even more then DVDs.

I wonder where and when it'll show, though. Back on Fox? On Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, late at night? If Fox had any brains they'd put it on right after the Simpsons and keep it there, which was Groening's original plan. Instead they kept pre-empting it for games, moving the timeslot, and otherwise sabotaging it.

Unfortunately, it was a false alarm. It won't be new episodes but four DVDs as previously reported.
