i am suprised that Darren Aronofsky's masterpeice "pi" was not on the list but cube was. and where was the original star wars?

Joshua, Star Wars was not considered an independent film because it was distributed via a major movie studio (20th Century Fox). Pi on the other hand....

I thought the list was interesting exactly because it omitted the big studio blockbusters and highlighted the "little guys".
