Hmm... Do you really expect submissions with less than 10 correct answers?
Apart from #7 and #10 (and, most importantly, the for-fun part), answers can be found even without looking here in particular. Added to the fact that everything can be answered just by searching here (I didn't check, but you have no reason to deceive all your greedy readers, do you? ) and there's really no excuses for a less than a perfect score.
I won't be participating myself due to a lack of a US postal address. But I'm curious, how expensive is it really to ship something of paperback-weight out of the US?
I'm curious because sending something like that from here (Israel) to the US would be rather cheap (Though everything is relative), and it's not every day (or year. Or decade, to be honest) I find a reason to actually be happy with our postal service.

Yaron, our intention was make it fun and not difficult; this is a giveaway. We didn't want to exclude anybody but that conflicted with our deep-seated fondness for being cheap. We are an ad-free fan blog that asks no money from our readers and mailing overseas would cost about $15 more. We'd like to put that money towards more contests.

I think I know the answer to #5... :-)

Obviously you didn't intend to make it difficult, John.
I guess I just didn't make myself clear enough, it wasn't that I thought you thought you made it into a big challenge, it was more that I was amused to see you specify in the rules that more answers get priority. Because it was obvious you intended it as light fun.
And wow, I see that I really do have a reason to appreciate our postal service. I've sent to the US stuff that was roughly similar in weight and bulk to a medium-thick paperback book, and the cost was about 2.5$, including a padded envelope.
Which is still more money than a local shipment, but at least much saner.

Hey guys,
Number 10 took some time.
Yaron, if I win, then when I'm done with "Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town" I'll drop it in the mail to you, just email me your address :-)

Hi Julia,
That's very very generous for someone who doesn't actually know me. Though now you're obviously my preferred candidate for winning. Not that it will do you any good, I'm not in the judging committee, so can't 'nudge' things in your direction. ;)
