That would be J. Michael Stracynski of Babylon 5 fame. It seems that JMS dropped quite a few nuggets of information at the recently completed San Diego Comic-Con. In short order, here are the juicy bits:

There were a couple of short stories scattered here and there that did some good backstory stuff on the characters. And, since there's no series commitment and some people have not had the breakthroughs they expected...yep, maybe we'll get some of those original actors back.
I'd like to see Vir again. Also Markus. Heck, how about more with Commander Sinclair (either as a Minbari or as himself).
Still a lot of tales to tell there.

Don't forget that Tim Choate, who played Zathras, died in a motorcycle accident a few years back.
JMS wrote a great Marcus story, about him being ressurected far in the future, for Science Fiction age in 99 (IIRC).
There must be a Bester story.

Science Fiction Age, that was the one I was thinking of!
Peter David did a Bester trilogy for Del Rey's line of B5 books. There was also a reprint of a book that the other line had done, plus a technomage trilogy and a couple of novelizations.
The other line of B5 books was mostly forgettable, other than two volumes.
I'm really surprised at the number of SF media products that have not been able to spawn a line of successful novelizations like Star Trek and Star Wars.
