Is it just me, or is there a sort of slant to the books chosen here? I may be seeing things that aren't there, but I do notice:
Phillip Pullman is on the list, but C.S. Lewis is not.
FOREVER WAR is on the list, but STARSHIP TROOPERS is not.
LEFT HAND OF DARKNESS is on the list, but DUNE, or any other book where the men and women are in traditional roles, is not.
FAHRENHEIT 451 is on the list, a favorite theme decrying booking burning, but BRAVE NEW WORLD, a favorite theme decrying social engineering, is not.
