Darn it, this sounds cool. Where was this kind of thing when I was in high school?
And that's a cool pic you found John. Nice and spacey, just like you.

The pic is from the site. I liked it too, which is why I didn't resize it and why it runs over the post height. Oh well.
And...who you calling "nice"? ![]()

My son, the rising ninth grader, is terribly jealous that he can't go for two more years.
My 44-year-old husband is wondering is anyone would believe he's a rising twelfth grader. *grin*

I've heard from the organizers that the site info is incorrect--it should be rising 8th through rising 12th. So he could go!

Jeff is correct. Rising 8th through rising 12th. Also, the site doesn't mention this yet, but each group of twelve students is matched up with one of the following teachers:
Jeff VanderMeer
Christie Golden
Douglas Niles
Harley Stroh
Ken Hite
Stephen Leigh
and... more added as needed...
And that's in ADDITION to all the visiting speakers and activities, and the seminars with college professors, and art and writing workshops...
It's going to be very, very cool.
Of course, I am a little biased.
