I've never even heard of Brazil.

Battlestar who?

Never heard of Brazil? Get thee to renting the Criterion Edition that has both versions! Much blood (well, ink) has been spilt over that film. Worth the effort!

Yes, sir. Too bad the local library doesn't have it.

No mention of DARK CITY by Alex Proyas? No mention of DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL? Kubric's monumental 2001-A SPACE ODYSSEY? The only mention of STAR WAR is the Glenndy Tartarovsky cartoon? The abomination known as STARSHIP TROOPERS, which is not only NOT a science fiction movie, it is actually an ANTI-SCIENCE FICTION movie, it is so bad, is on the list?? I am surprised HIGHLANDER II did not take first prize!

Philistines.

I hate to say it, but what did you expect from Entertainment Weekly? If they were smart, they would have called us before they published that list....

In EW's defense, it's the best magazine for which to trade in expiring airline miles. Well, almost the best. OK, not nearly the best. In fact, it's sort of a bad choice. Or perhaps even the worst choice of all.

...what was the question?

Posted by John on Friday May 04, 2007 at 3:58 PM at 3:58 PM

The question was:

How long until your head explodes?

I'll drop the hint again...Battlestar Gal-what?

:O

Heh--just got the hint, Fred.

...or rather, I was just testing your spell-checking skillz. You passed. (H)

I've made a top 10 list of my own which is a lot better than this one because it has Blade Runner on top :-@

Obviously, since yours has BR at the top, it's far inferior to the one at this site -- a true SF fan would know that! And if you were a true SF fan, you would go to an SF Expo instead of a blogger expo -- what a total poser!

...and everyone knows that a poser is just one letter away from a loser...

OMG, BloggerDollar really is a loser -- he thought Aldous Huxley wrote "1984". He was corrected many times on that very SF blog -- POSER!!!
