My favorite scifi book, comedy scifi novel Spindle by Aussie author Ian Taylor, just won the 2007 Indie Excellence Award for Science Fiction. Spindle, the humorous tale of Peter Turner's first week in the Space Force, is in development as a TV series in Australia. The book's sequel is due for release in 2008, and Spindle is currently available through Amazon.com. For more info, see www.spindlebook.com.
