Riddley Scott says:
"Here we are 25 years on," Mr. Scott said, "and we're seriously discussing the possibility of the end of this world by the end of the century. This is no longer science fiction."

Uh, what? Who is seriously discussing the end of the world in 90 years? A bunch of his film buddies?

There are seven (7) versions of the new version, counting the various formats like DVD, HD DVD and BluRay. Strangely, the standard definition DVD has a 2-disc set, a 4-disc set, and the 5-disc briefcase. The HD versions each get 5-disc versions, one with a briefcase and one in a box. Now, why can't you get 2-disc versions in HD, and why can't you get the 5-disc version in standard definition without the briefcase? Ah, the joys of marketing / packaging...

BoingBoing has pointed towards a pair of Dalek cufflinks. Now why couldn't you get stuff like that when I worked in a place where French Cuffs (and therefore, cufflinks) were acceptable clothing?
