Heroes Season 2 Predictions
With the writers strike in full force now, it looks like Heroes will be forced to make episode 11 the season finale. Last night's episode. 'Out Of Time', finally put all the major players into motion for the inevitable showdown. With that in mind, here are some predictions for the rest of Season .
- The paintings have been leading us down the path to HRG's death. But the paintings have been 'wrong' before, showing us only possible futures, not 'the' future. Thus, HRG won't die as shown in the paintings. Claire will be unable to shoot him as she'll realize all he's done for her. Suresh will most likely pull the trigger, but won't kill HRG because:
- Parkman will be using his new mind screwing powers on Suresh to make him think that Adam is HRG. Suresh will shoot Adam, knocking him down but not out. He'll be back for more.
- Now that Claire's creepy boyfriend (CBF) knows HRG is her dad, he will try everything he can to drive a wedge between her and HRG. This will work for a time until Claire realizes what CBF is trying to do. Plus she'll realize he has a re-cycled power and isn't as cool as she thought.
- Sylar doesn't have his powers because he is infected by the virus. But he's infected with the old virus that Suresh's blood can cure. (What? Is Suresh half-Cylon now?) Suresh will discover that Sylar's blood can be used to cure the new strain of virus and will have to decide to cure Sylar and using his blood to stop the new virus and yet let Sylar regain his powers, or let Sylar die and condemn billions of people to death by the new virus.
- Alejandro's power will turn out to be much more interesting than as just a soak for Maya's power. Alejandro will discover he can negate anyone else's power. He doesn't know this as Maya is the only 'Hero' he as encountered.
- Adam is turn out to be the source of the genetic mutation that has created all the 'Heroes', which will make him the father/grandfather of everyone. His plan: to ensure that Hiro does indeed become a 'Hero' so he, Adam, can take his revenge on Hiro. Yes, he holds a grudge a long time.
- Peter will be asked to make a choice: Help stop the virus and save the world again, or let the virus run its course so he can meet up Caitlin, whom he stranded, in the future. Pete, already taking a dark turn, goes even darker.
- Finally, much to the chagrin of many, Nikki won't die. Sorry.
And now for a few thoughts on last night's show, 'Out Of Time':
- Did anyone else think Parkman expanded his mind powers way to quickly? Fast enough to trap his father? Come on.
- Adam is Kensei. Saw that one, but we only have Bob's word that he is trying to kill everyone. But then again, the predictable may be the truth this season.
- The return of 'save the cheerleader, save the world'! Please, can't the writers come up with someone else who can help saev the world other than Claire?

Right now I am so deleriously happy that SOMETHING actually happened in last night's episode. I agree with many of your predicitions, and I wonder how/if next week's episode (when we finally get to see how Peter and Nathan survived the explosion, etc.) changes or confirms them. I also predict that Elle is Bob's daughter.
