- Here's a reprint of a thoughtful 2003 article written by sf author Mary A. Turzillo about Roger Zelazny. "And that was the element in Zelazny's work that fascinated people, that fascinated me: his heroes: sinewy and outcast, immortal and doomed, powerful and desperate, wise guys and wizards with bad attitudes and broken hearts.
