Here is one more letter that should have been read:
Dear Santa,
My parents were laid off because Hollywood writers decided to go on strike. They use to run a business that rented props and costumes to studios. But because the writers are too busy walking around in circles carrying sticks attached to cardboard, they have to close up their shop. This Christmas, can you please give those bad evil writers some senses so they would go back to work? Oh yeah, they should all get big black lumps of coals in their stockings. For our family, we just want a safe and happy holiday and hope that next year will be better.
Sincerely,
Little girl whose parents aren't working because of greedy Hollywood writers.
And the joke response would be:
*laughter* What a lame set of parents!! If they had just gone to school and worked on Wall Street, they would have been taking home big bonuses instead of depending on flakey writers for their livelihood!!
Merry F*king Xmas!!!
