Tried watching ReGenesis when it first aired and though it wasn't horrible, I didn't get into it at the time. I've been meaning to give it a second chance for sometime now.

Star Maidens made a very brief (one episode?) appearance on US TV. I know I'm not hallucinating, as I confirmed that with a friend.

As for the Mark Wilson piece, I've been kind of doing the same thing. Right now I've been watching Stargate SG-1 from season one and recently got to season two of Babylon 5. I'll toss BSG Mark 2.0 into the mix when we're closer to the third season release...

Whoopsie doodle. I meant "Alan Stepinwall", not "Mark Wilson" for the re-watching.

But the Wilson piece brought some thought as well: How much of a second-half to the season will there be if the writer's strike continues? Can't be too much stuff left "in the can".

Regenesis is my favorite TV show of all time. I was overjoyed to learn it was renewed for a fourth season. The show combines science, action, and hot romance. What's not to like?

One interesting feature of the show is how it makes lab work look dramatic. I'm not a biotech guy but I think manipulating test tubes and making notes all day has to be just about the dullest job imaginable. But when those guys spin up their centrifuges and squint over their computer monitors, with a split screen presentation that shows them all busy at the same time with their different tasks, and all to a jazz fusion beat, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance, well, I can't imagine anything cooler.
