The Stargate Atlantis review was horrible. Now, I am one of those people that will devour any SF offering. This does not mean that I will not call it out if it really is bad. The truth is that Stargate Atlantis is not bad. It has its downfalls like every show, perhaps more than some on the same channel, but again in spite of them its a good show. The review in question however was not good. Reading it I got the impression that the reviewer never saw one single episode. It's almost like he saw the tv listings and said: "Holy *rap how did this happen?" He does not list one single thing that make Stargate Atlantis unworthy of its five seazons but instead just rambles on from show to show again giving no reasons to back his claim. Stargate A. is a good show that has interesting characters that gel well together almost as well as the twice long Stargate SG-1. It has an interesting story, I mean who hasnt dreamed of living in a city filled with ancient treasurefull of knowledge and gadgets. It grew from its inceptions and like it or not does have a plotline that is apparent and at times surprisingly marvelous. The first two episodes of season four blew me away, I must have seen the first season "The Storm" two parter maybe twenty times. As I said it does have its downsides, such as sometimes heavy Ronon and Teyla stories I am not a big fan off, and they did kill of a major char in essentially a feel good ep, and sometimes it does very much feel episodic or even a rehash of a previous SG-1 ep, but none of this was mentioned in the article.
Instead we get the very generic and about as cliche a mention of how if you want to have sex you have to watch less sf. I tell you if I got layed every time somebody online told me that I would layed if i lay off of the fiction of the science Don Juan would be like an anemic impotent pedophile on an old geezer planet in comparison.
To conclude S A good, the reviewer bad.
Sit Ubu sit, good dog.
