• Bloggasm's Simon Owen has the skinny on Tor's Watch the Skies project. It seems that, in addition to freee eBook versions of published works, the site will be include original short fiction social networking features.


• Gizmodo has a gallery of C3PO, a Clone Wars Trooper and Indiana Jones in life-size Lego.


• SciFi Now lists The Top 10 Sci-fi Armies. Two of them are from Doctor Who. [via Illusion TV]


• File under Retro-Futurism: The Pointless Museum has a gallery of images from the 1979 book The Usborne Book of the Future, subtitled "A Trip in Time to 2000 and Beyond.
