Even if it weren't tempting to post the contents of the upcoming collection The Best of Michael Swanwick from Subterranean Press, this way-cool cover for the book by Lee Moyer is the clincher.
Here are the stories:

Cool!
Michael Swanwick has written some of the coolest science fiction short stories I have ever read. And apparently I'm not the only one who thinks that - all of his Hugo wins (and nominations) count for something, right?
I have written reviews of "The Very Pulse of the Machine" (1999 Hugo winner) and "Scherzo with Tyrannosaur" (2000 Hugo winner) on my website if anyone is interested. This book has some very famous stories and an overall great line-up. I can't wait to get my hands on it. His other books from Subterranean Press are pretty good too - especially Tales of Old Earth.

Lee Moyer has been doing some incredible cover work lately, especially his wrap-around for Kim Newman's recent The Secret Files of the Diogenes Club. This new one is just gorgeous too.

Too bad "Moon Dogs" is not on this list. It's a great little gem of a story that's hard to get a hold of.
