The Straczynski transcript was interesting. Too bad MIT doesn't bother to date it or mention where the talk was given. Based on references in the talk, I'm guessing it was given about four years ago. No idea, though. Anyone know?
Since the talk was given, Battlestar Galactica has had (almost) four seasons, and Ronald D. Moore has been signed to create three movies, no doubt due to his efforts at creating a top-notch SF show. Definitely looking forward to that!
