This is an interesting topic. Just looking at the critics top 10:
The Long Afternoon of Earth - Never read it.
The Demolished Man - Bester? Never read it.
The Martian Chronicles - Read pieces.Atmospheric.
Stand on Zanzibar - What? Drug induced writing.
Childhood's End - Great book.
Dune - Slow, then great. Without Sting though.
Left Hand of Darkness - Zzzzz. Nice world building.
A Canticle for Leibowitz - Great read. Although, I don't think its as relevant today as it was when it was written.
The Space Merchants - Never read it.
More Than Human - Never read it.
