Not that I troll Star Wars sites of anything, but the date is set for the Star Wars Trilogy (Episodes IV-VI). And the magic date is September 21, 2004. And, no, labeling the episodes by their Lucas-sanctioned Roman numerals does not make me a fan-boy.

It doesn’t MAKE you one, no. You already are, which is why you used the roman numerals…
It doesn’t make you one; but let’s just say that it doesn’t help either…
We all know that as (admitted) Fanboys or not, we’re buying this set. It will probably smash records as well and not just for a boxed-set of DVDs. The only bummer, if you can call it that, is that these movies are the ones George (can I call you George?) tinkered with and not the original ones. You know, where Greedo was changed to make it look like he shot at Han first before Solo shot him. Lame. At least I still have the original on LaserDics. I just need to transfer those to my own DVDs.
Also don’t forget the constant re-releasing every year or so (special edition; super-special edition; pre-golden anniversary edition; hallmark edition with new footage added; ultimate edition; penultimate edition; super-penultimate golden anniversary edition; and so on…) It’s the same stupid marketing games they play with the Lord of the Rings DVDs.
