A quick hit about the upcoming A Scanner Darkly film.

Interesting things:
Keanu Reeves called a 'gifted actor'.
Robert Downy, Jr. acting in a film about drugs and drug addiction. Who knew?
Filming is in Austin, Tx. Sweet. Of course, it is Rick Linklater.
The film will be a combination of live action with animated backgrounds.

This could be cool. I like PKD, especially his written stuff, not necessarily the movies adapted from them. And Linklater is definately creative. I'm not enthused about Reeves, who carrer, and acting ability, peaked with the first Bill and Ted movie...
