City Of Heroes: Terminated Due to Lack of Interest

Once again, it was a ghost town in the land of Manus Equitas in CoH this weekend. With the exception of the one hour that I played with Kevin, I've seen no one on. With my brother exiting until the next update, I've decided to follow suit. Luckily, I was able to deactivate my account tonight before the next billing cycle started. *Whew*

There are a lot of cool computer games coming out over the next few months, and I'm thinking that CoH will be getting less and less of my time. I'll keep CoH activated until the boy gets tired of playing, but I'll be playing FFXI, Doom3, HL2 and Fable (XBox). I'd also like to try EQ2 when it ships. From what I've seen of WoW, I think I'll pass.

Another ringing endorsement!

Hey man, you're the one who was slobbering over how cool the game was and how I had to join in!

I do have fun with the game, but have no desire at all to play without a group, and am not certainly interested enough in the game to create more than the single character I have which I use with the group.

Bottom line - if the group's not in on a particular night, I'll find something different to do. If my friends ARE in, I'm usually good with playing (even though my character contributes practically nil to large groups.)
