SF Crowsnest posted an article about translating science fiction and fantasy. Interesting, but I would have liked to see some name-dropping examples. For example, a brief impression of the translations of Stanislaw Lem might have been nice. What about Wendayne Ackerman’s translations of the very popular Perry Rhodan series? Or perhaps an analysis of Shakespeare’s works from their original Klingon. Uh-oh, I slipped into Geek-mode!
