Reynolds new book “Century Rain” is out from Ace on June 1! Huzzah! No Inhibitors, but it should still be good.

Alas, still no good news on “Irontown Blues”. Darn you, Mr. Varley (or is that Mr. Niven?), it’s been only since 1999 since the last installment. I’m going to die of old age at this rate…

And no news from Reynolds about the prospective short story collection that he mentioned on his website at one point. That would have put the various shorts under one cover, sans DD/TD. I’d like to see the Inhibitor shorts and the other shorts he’s done instead of chasing them down in individual books and magazines.

Doh! My bad. I am such a noob. You know, it’s funny because I originally typed in Niven’s name for some odd reason, realized my mistake and corrected it, but forgot to remove Ringworld. At least, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

John Varley wrote The Ringworld series? I guess he must pronounce his name as Larry Niven.
