O.K….let’s see if the comments are fixed (third attempt to post this). I did better with this one than the Nebula poll. I got into the 40-51 range band (and as with the Nebula poll, did better the earlier you went…I’m really behind on award-winning books from the 80′s, 90′s and 00′s! Lack of time? Lack of interest? Change of taste? Hmmmm…..).
Apologies for the comments mishap. Those responsible have redirected the blame and moved to Canada.
I think, Fred, that your reading project for next year should be to finish all Hugo and Nebula winners. Get crackin’! Whu-pah!
Actually, I was seriously considering that. I’m kind of working on a couple of “completion projects” this year…Delany, various authors whose last name starts with “B” and a few other wacky sub-categories.
Working on Hugos and Nebulas would be almost…mundane!
Hmmm…should I concentrate only on novels or include all the shorter works to? Winners only or nominated works as well?
Madness ensues!
