Welcome to another installment of SF Tidbits!
- DVD Answers goes all Star Wars with some box and menu graphics for Episode III. (Not that I troll the web for Star Wars Sites or anything.)
- Chris Roberson, author of the fantastic Here, There & Everywhere, ruminates on self-publishing, sf series and – something already noted by Robert Silverberg – that the novella is the perfect length for a good sf story.
- I stumbled on an interesting read in a 2002 article about sf jargon and prototype worlds. The author also posts his 1997 commentary sent to John Clute regarding Clute’s Encyclopedia of Science Fiction which contains a proposed entry on Libertarianism. The source website, Prototype Worlds, is an older project similar to the more-recent Science Fiction Citations site.
- SF author Michael Swanwick will have his Periodic Table of Science Fiction project converted to book form, says SciFiWire. The project is a collection of vignettes, each focusing on a different element in the periodic table.
