Samurai 7 – Have it, haven’t watched it yet.
GitS Second Gig – Have it, seen the first episode only. I will say that I thought the First Gig was great.
Fullmetal Alchemist – Seen the first 4 DVDs. Excellent so far.
Planetes – One of my most favorite anime titles ever.
Samurai Champloo – Seens the first 4 DVDs, also excellent so far. Its an off beat mix of feudal Japan with modern day hip hop/pop music. Lots of humor and blood.
Miyazaki films – I’ve seen Nausicaa and thought it was good, but not as good as Spirited Away. I have Porco Rosso but haven’t seen it yet.
Appleseed – I’ve seen the first half of this film and can say it looks great. Not sure about the rest of the story.
Gankutsuou – Never even heard of it….
Gunslinger Girl – Have it, haven’t seen it yet. Looks like a re-hash of Noir though. Which isn’t bad if they come up with a different plot.
Area 88 – Haven’t seen it yet.
Looks like a good list of anime though. I’ll have to acquire the titles I haven’t seen yet. Heading to Netflix now!
