Its really hard not to like a guy who has for the most part embraced his cheese factor and realizes that being parodied is a form of flattery. I guess thats the way I see him and which is why I enjoy watching him still work. His stint on the MTV Video awards a few years ago were a riot – specially his version of Seven with himself portraying all three roles at the end of the movie, but one as James T. Kirk and another as TJ Hooker

Don’t forget the Shat man as himself, or “Bill” in “Free Enterprise”…… that’s when I really began to like him. The “B” story of the movie made fun of Shatner’s “real” persona as well as his “Captain” persona. (Who can ever forget the finale with “Bill” performing “Julius Ceasar” via Rap music? Classic.)

Supposedly, Free Enterprise II will start filming soon and “Bill” will be in it again.

I can barely wait!
