According to CNN, for the past 57 years, someone has been leaving roses and a bottle of cognac on Edgar Allan Poe’s grave to mark his January 19th birthday. The curator of the Poe House and Museum is now having to fend off a small group of people who are trying to find the identity of the msyterious visitor.

IIRC, a few years ago there was a gap and the theory was that the person who had done it passed away. Then the “gifts” started again, and the observers who spotted the mystery man thought that he walked “younger”…so somebody appeared to be taking over.
This is definately one of those things in life that should remain a mystery.
