I don’t mind Potter winning a movie Hugo. I am glad that the latest book isn’t up for novel. In fact, this is probably the least embarrassing slate of nominees I’ve seen in a while. It is also more representitive of where the genre is going right now than the last few years. I wish comics like Desolation Jones, The Atheist, Fear Agent, and the new Conan were eligable.

I will admit it that I am a Scalzi fanboy, but not a stalker, and I hope he wins at least one of the awards he is nominated for. And finally, I managed to actually read a book from an award list prior to it actually being put on a list…

Must mark that one down in my book of accomplishments.

Totally off topic but this Novel, Novella, etc. seems to only work with Novels right?
