- According to Variety, Universal has picked up the rights to adapt Alfred Bester’s sf classic The Stars My Destination. [via Cinematical]

- Ray Bradbury’s favorite Bradbury book is Dandelion Wine.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away, I met Alfred Bester and had a long talk about the possibilities of either “The Stars My Destination” or “The Demolished Man” becoming movies.
His general opinion was he was happy to take their option money, but neither would make good movies.
