The Speed-Reading Postman

I suspect that my postman not only reads this blog, but he's become a speed-reader. I received my new issue of Locus Magazine yesterday, an unprecedented eight days into the month! This would lead me to believe that he's read my previous post on how I get the magazine late and already unsealed. Although I got my eager little hands on the magazine earlier than normal this month, it was still unsealed. And not just the-seal-became-undone-accidentally kind of unsealed. No, this was a hurried ripping of the seal. Therefore, I think my postman is a speed-reader. Who reads this blog.

Call the manager of your postal facility. File a complaint. And put that on the blog. To stop this idiot. And then. I will stop. Typing. Partial sentences. Or blogging. Before having coffee.

I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Postal workers react poorly to adverse conditions. I don't think that John would risk the ire of "the postman" over his copy of Locus, would you John?

Hmmm... "The Ire of the Postman," think that can be Kevin Costner's comeback vehicle?

yeah don't piss off the post man. I put "return to sender" on a few bits of junk mail and they said not to do that or they will cancel all my mail. I agrued with him saying that this should be OK and the policy of the post office allows me to return unopened mail I don't like. Well they canceled only the good mail like bills and mags but kept sending me my junk mail...jerks. (i still havent gotten my new credit card.)

Eventualy I just wrote a real nice letter to the post man with a five dollar bill attached and I started getting all my mail again...jerks

That's my point...don't tick off the mailman. Or the phone company. [Pauses to remember Dr. Johnny Fever's paranoia on that one episode of WKRP in Cincinnati]. Or the waiter who has yet to bring your food. Or the car mechanic.

Hmmm. I think that basically leaves your loved ones as the only people it's safe to tick off. Except the wife, for obvious reasons. :O

what planet are you on? Or what year? You can tick of the Phone company...ma bell broke up a loooong time ago.

I mean what are they going to do? Turn off you phone service? That would be like if dell refused to sell you computer. Oh no the horror.

But yeah be nice to your waiter....if you don't belive me read "fight club" That stuff about pissing in the soup is all true.
