- Sad news: SF/F artist Tim Hildebrandt has passed away.
- More sad news: Baen Books publisher Jim Baen has suffered a stroke.
- Happier news: There’s a new SF Website…Helix, a speculative fiction quarterly e-zine run by authors (William Sanders, Lawrence Watt-Evans and others) to brace against the oncoming digital age that sure to change the publishing industry. [via SFBC Blog]
