Futurama will return with at least 13 new episodes on Comedy Central by 2008!
Sweet! This will be the reason I needed to get hooked on the show. For some reason, I never took the time to warm up to it when it originally aired. (Maybe it was that awful musical-in-Hell episode? 
) My loss. I've since seen a few and find it well worth the time.

I'm glad to hear there are new eps of FUTURAMA in the works. Fox did its best to kill the show by pre-empting it for Sunday night sports events.

It's not quite as good as the Simpsons but the series definitely has its moments. I'm a big bender fan. I can't wait to start podcasting a few crank calls using the Bender soundboard.

I'm a huge fan of Futurama here and I'm the one that tried to get John to like the Hell is Other Robots episode (and how we learned that John isn't all that fond of singing comedy.)
I can't wait for it to come back - but 2008? Sheesh! Wake me when it airs!

wt hell...Lila and Fry got together in the last episode...how are they going to play that off?
This will be more of a train wreck then the last season of moonlighting.

At it's peak, Futurama was better than The Simpsons episodes that were being reeled off at the time and still are being now. Whilst The Simpsons has got poorer over time, Futurama has gone from strength to strength, and I'm quite sure I'm not the only one that was puzzled by Fox's decision to axe it.

I am so happy to hear that Futurama is returning. I watch it every night on Adult Swim. Fox was crazy to let that show go. I love all the characters and can't wait for its return. 2008 is a very long time to wait.

The nice thing is that all of the voice actors are returning! So we're not gonna hear a rehash of Fry's or any character voice. I can wait til 2008 so long as they're all comin back!

Are we sure the TV show is returning? I ask because IMDB seems to show that there is a movie coming rather than a show. I don't mind either, but I suspect we don't know the real outcome yet.
