Project Gutenberg is putting up H. Beam Piper’s “He Walked Around the Horses” tomorrow. It’s based on an actual historical incident and is one of the early stories in his “Paratime” sequence.
Irene Gallo, Tor Books’ art director is a genius. I have never met or spoken with her, but I have seen the output of her work on certain bookcovers very near and dear to my heart.
