Everytime I see a S. Martiniere cover I start to drool and want desperately to be able to step into that world and explore. He is an amazing talent and the kind of artist that makes me want to buy an author's book regardless of whether or not I have ever read their work.

I picked up the two Martiniere art collections based on a couple of covers for Ken MacLeod and other books. He and Eggleton (and those are two widely different styles!) are my two favorite currently practicing SF artists (to differentiate with my favorite nonpracticing SF artists!).

Ultra-cool stuff.
