Andy Cox, editor and publisher of Interzone, has announced that the May-June issue next year will be a special issue devoted to Mundane SF, guest-edited by Geoff Ryman.
As per Ryman, the rules of Mundane SF are:
- no FTL travel or communications
- no aliens
- no time travel
- no parallel universes
- no immortality or telepathy

…what a thoroughly cool idea. I wish I had enough free time to write a story and send it to them. I wonder if I HAVE any stories that would fit…hmmm…
Regardless, I’ll definitely read that issue. I love it when magazines do themed issues.
